Software Titles Listed In D2CA's Legacy Software Catalogs
These titles are part of a collection of original commercial software media. They will be made available only as non-original backup copies unless a collector's price is paid for the original media. Floppy-based titles can be delivered as disk images in an e-mail attachment or on backup media via Postal Service. Titles on CD-ROM will be delivered only via Postal Service. Media Replacement
Dan's 20th Century Abandonware's primary offering of legacy software titles is in the form of legal media replacements for owners of legally licensed titles whose media has become defective, damaged, discarded, lost or stolen. These media replacements are non-original backup copies that allow the owners of these titles to continue to use their software. Media replacements are offered only in compliance with D2CA's Legal Policy.

Surplus Legacy Software
Dan's 20th Century Abandonware has a limited supply of legacy surplus software available on its original commercial media. These titles are the software media only and do not include any manuals or original packaging. Surplus software media is offered only in compliance with D2CA's Legal Policy.

Dan's 20th Century Abandonware has a limited supply of surplus legacy computer hardware.

Recovery Services for Unreadable Floppy Disks
If you have damaged or unreadable 5¼" or 3½" floppy disks you need data or installation software recovered from, Dan's 20th Century Abandonware can apply low-level direct access recovery methods to extract data from otherwise unreadable media. Once a disk has readable data, Dan's 20th Century Abandonware can also extract that information for the prices listed in the Data Recovery Services below.

Pricing for unreadable disk recovery is:
- US$25.00 per floppy disk for 1 to 24 floppy disks
- US$20.00 per floppy disk for 25 to 49 floppy disks
- US$15.00 per floppy disk for 50 to 99 floppy disks

Any floppy disks that data cannot be recovered from will not be charged.

Data Recovery Services
Since 1999, Dan's 20th Century Abandonware has helped businesses, organizations, and individuals recover data from legacy computer media in the form of data files, backup sets, etc. Dan's 20th Century Abandonware can recover data from legacy 5¼" and 3½" floppy disks and transfer that data to newer media or send the data itself electronically via Internet e-mail attachment.

Data recovery is broken down into two categories:
- Direct file recovery (retrieving individual files from floppy disks)
- Data backup set recovery

Pricing for direct file recovery (retrieving individual files from floppy disks) is:
- US$8.50 per floppy disk for 1 to 19 floppy disks
- US$6.00 per floppy disk for 20 to 49 floppy disks
- US$4.00 per floppy disk for 50 to 99 floppy disks

Pricing for data recovery from backup sets is:
- US$15.00 per floppy disk for 1 to 49 floppy disks
- US$10.00 per floppy disk for 50 to 74 floppy disks
- US$7.00 per floppy disk for 75 to 99 floppy disks

Any floppy disks that are not readable will not be charged.

Document Conversion Services
Dan's 20th Century Abandonware can translate document files in many legacy formats to more "modern" formats such as Microsoft® Word® and others. This service can be provided in conjunction with the Data Recovery Services listed above.

- US$15.00 per document for 1 to 49 documents
- US$10.00 per document for 50 to 99 documents

Any documents that cannot be converted will not be charged.
